Philadelphia Open Studio Tours, a program of The Center for Emerging Visual Artists is the largest tour of artist studios and creative workspaces in the region, and one of the premier open studio tour events in the country.

Each October, the Tours span 20 unique Philadelphia neighborhoods and this year features over 270 artist studios and creative workspaces, gallery exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops, artist talks and receptions – all opening the doors to the public during this free citywide festival. The Philadelphia Open Studio Tours provide a rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of visual artists at work in an approachable, fun, and easy-to-navigate tour. The Studio Tours provides a chance to engage with Philadelphia’s entire arts community from a new perspective – and based your own specific interests. No other program in or around Philadelphiaconsistently brings such an intimate and diverse cultural experience to the community free of charge and across such a large geographic area.
